The Brazilian Attorney General’s Office of the National Treasury (PGFN) reopened the deadline for subscription to the Tax Recovery Program, which seeks to enable the regularization of tax debts with discounts, easier down payment and extended payment deadlines; allowing the resumption of productive activity due to the effects of the pandemic caused by COVID-19.

Taxpayers will be able to negotiate debts registered in active debt of the Federal Government and the Brazilian Government Severance Indemnity Fund (FGTS) until November 30^th, 2021, and may subscript between October 1^st and December 29^th, 2021.

For subscription, taxpayers must prove the economic and financial impacts suffered as a result of the pandemic and, depending on the modality, it may be required to fill in the Revenue/Income Declaration form.
